Our programming still has a focus on Olympic Weightlifting in these weeks where we also do the CrossFit open. The lifting workout for this week was one of the toughest combinations we could think of. Typical for CrossFit training, very unusual if you would ask a weightlifter.


With a descending ladder of heavy clean & jerks and muscle-ups (or chest-to-bar or burpee pull-ups), the combination can hardly get any more spicy. Athletes today got a good taste of this and picked one big challenge on these movements. As you can see on the whiteboard, we had 1 (one) WonderWoman score today, and even that did not make it close to the end. So no shame, if today proved to be a great challenging workout for you. You can learn and get fitter from those too.



In the afternoon, most of the coaching squad tuned in to the first edition of the Certified Functional Weightlifting course online. In two weeks, we will host the live event of that course throughout the whole weekend.



A little later in the afternoon, a special someone dropped by with a gift to thank the whole crew for their efforts and great coaching. A gesture we appreciate highly. We will water it and whisper to it to give full effort, reach the full range of motion, and give it small high fives. In case anybody out there is wondering, besides flowers we also love homemade food and chocolate chip cookies.😇
